Where we shop: SLNT
If you’re like me (and have been obsessively accumulating Bitcoin), you’ve probably looked for ways to improve your privacy.
I’ll be honest, it’s a bit of a battle for me. As someone who made his public presence known by writing his first article on Bitcoin. Back in 2013I don’t have much of a choice – a lot of my personal information will probably be there forever.
That being said, small improvements go a long way (or so they say). At least I feel better about the fact that these days I’m basically looking after all my assets with no one to blame but myself…
Anyway, one practical upgrade I made was to store my Bitcoin hardware device and seed material in the following location: faraday bagrepel radiation and block frequencies. I’m no expert, but I’ve been told that this makes the device difficult to tamper with, and as for extra steps, all you need to do is purchase a specific storage bag.
I got my first Faraday bag for free casa service (Multi-sig Bitcoin security provider that helps me self-manage). (They are giving away free Faraday bags from this great manufacturer. SLNT For those who signed up, I’ve since bought a few more along the way. )
That’s why I was interested in this privacy masterpiece.
I needed a new backpack, and despite the $1,000 price tag. SLNT Submersible Faraday Backpack It’s got my attention.
Not only does it look super stylish, it also appears to be able to keep your laptop (and other devices) safe in up to 100 feet of water.
As someone who has always had a fear of plane crashes, that appeals to me. Is this more than you need to protect your hardware devices during shipping? Do you need to worry about solar flares or electromagnetic radiation?
Probably not, but given that World War III might start, that’s another reason to skip the stack and buy this, right? In other words, what should I own as a “Bitcoin expert”?
I asked Shinobi if he could make it in saran wrap, but sadly this is clearly beyond his security acumen. Until then, I think I’ll keep this on my wishlist.
After all, there has to be some reason not to buy it, right?
