Tether blocked $280,000 USDT from seven wallets associated with the FixedFloat hack.
Earlier today, the decentralized exchange lost $3 million worth of ETH, USDT, USDC, WETH, and DAI due to a cyberattack on the Ethereum network. FixedFloat faced his second hack since February, as a previous exploit cost the exchange more than $26 million in losses.
In both incidents, multiple tokens were withdrawn due to unauthorized access to hot wallets, amounting to $2.8 million and $26 million, respectively. Blacklisted tokens such as USDT and USDC were quickly exchanged to avoid freezing, and DAI was deposited directly into eXch without conversion. Cyberse analysts believe this pattern indicates targeted exploitation of vulnerabilities within the system’s access controls.
The FixedFloat team has not yet released an official statement regarding this attack. His website on the exchange shows an error page and its X account There has been no activity in the last 3 days.
