The Singapore Army and the Brunei Army (RBLF) successfully conducted the 26th Exercise Maju Bersama from 18 to 25 January 2024. Army Chief of Staff Major General (MG) David Neo and RBLF Commander Brigadier General Haji Mohammad Shanonizam bin Sulaiman co-hosted the closing ceremony of the exercise held this morning at Penangjong Garrison, Brunei.
Nearly 200 personnel from the 1st Battalion Singapore Infantry Regiment (1 SIR) and 3rd Battalion RBLF took part in the annual bilateral exercise. This year’s iteration featured specialized exchanges that included mutual sharing of weapons systems and company-level urban operations capabilities, culminating in a joint attack carried out by both armies against simulated urban targets.
