Crisp fall air and falling orange leaves signal a change in the weather, meaning the outdoor golf season is nearing its end.
The City of Edmonton’s three golf courses will close in less than a week for the 2024 season.
Sunday October 20th will be the last day of operation for Rundle, Riverside and Victoria Golf Courses. The Kinsmen Pitch and Putt Par 3 course is already closed for the year.

“We are happy that the municipal golf course will be a place for people to gather during the summer,” said Michael Dewar, municipal golf course supervisor. “Our facilities are community hubs where people can connect with friends and family.”
“As the season draws to a close, our staff will be working hard to prepare the greens for the winter so we can provide Edmontonians with safe and enjoyable courses next year.”
The driving range at Victoria Golf Course will remain open with reduced hours, according to the city.
The driving range is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., weather permitting, throughout October until the first snowfall.
The City will provide updates on business hours in the coming weeks as the situation changes.
