CIX is back with their first single album. 0 or 1! Ever since the group made a full comeback, hot moments have continued. As a FIX certified person, I couldn’t be happier that the drought is over.First release since Finale got it It is also the first single album in the series. 0 or 1!

This is a new era (and perhaps the start of a new series?) for CIX, and they took the opportunity to try something new, and we really like this for them. We are big fans of artists who take chances to grow. And of course, when it works as well as it did with CIX, I love it even more. From the concept to the lyrics, this group definitely shows a whole new side of FIX. Bringing together the worlds of K-Pop and AI was a very smart move, and it was great to see people getting excited about this comeback on social media.
Now let’s take a look at the individual tracks!
“Lover or enemy?”
CIX knows how to make an iconic title track (come on, we’re talking about debuted “Movie Star” is also here), and “Lovers or Enemies” is just as great! Like many of his K-Pop artists, CIX has experimented with synthpop and his ’80s influences many times, but usually in a more upbeat manner. “Lovers or Enemies” is late night neon, and there’s nothing I love more about. The intro, which sounds like it’s coming from an analog radio, expresses the opening lyrics. “Baby, I’m going to play some 80’s music.” Even more appropriate. If you didn’t believe us when we said this song had a major ’80s synth-pop energy to it, you might as well believe CIX instead.
The dance-pop track pulsates, and this impactful energy is reflected in the lyrics. As you might imagine, “lovers or foes” is a direct question, and CIX demands to know where they stand. “You have two choices. Depending on your answer, we will become lovers or enemies.”
“My name is Shadow.”
The counterpart to “Love or Enemy” is “My Name is Shadow.” Despite being very different sonically, both songs carry the same thread of passion and confession. “My Name Is Shadow” could only be a ballad, telling the story of a completely single-minded, infatuated love. That’s natural. Every Baby He FIX recommends this song because CIX’s vocalist is very talented and very underrated in our opinion.
