City-based K-Pop idol Aoora, who continues her quest to remake Bollywood songs with a Korean twist, recently appeared on Bigg Boss season 17. The Seoul-born artist reveals what his plans are for a weekend in the city.
Me Time: Since I’m focused on work during the week, I spend my weekends loving myself, self-care, and spending time with friends and family. I’ve always loved working out and stretching. But after coming to India, meditation became a very important part of my daily routine. I start my day with meditation, self-reflection, and prayer. This keeps me positive throughout the week.
Food: During the week, I like to focus on healthy eating and detoxing. But weekends are the time to go all out and explore Indian cuisine. My current is sweet paranthas, which I used to eat every night as a meal while in the Bigg Boss house. But now I also eat it as a dessert.
Music: Not a day goes by that I don’t listen to music. On the weekends I put on my headphones and listen to a lot of Indian music, and I’d like to recreate that as part of an upcoming project.
Book: I feel that language prevents me from connecting deeply with my Indian family, so I work hard to remove this barrier. I like reading books, so I indulge in reading English and Hindi books on weekends.
Connecting with fans: A large part of my weekends are spent reading messages from my fans on Instagram. They give me a lot of strength. I may not be able to reply to everyone, but I will try to read and reply as much as possible during this time.
