Jeannie Mai claims Jeezy hasn't followed through on divorce terms

As previously reported, the former couple finalized their divorce in June, about nine months after Jeezy filed for divorce in September 2023. After two and a half years of marriage, Jeannie and Jeezy welcomed a daughter named Monaco. The toddler became the focus of the couple’s divorce proceedings. At one point, Mai accused her ex-husband of endangering her children, and he demanded primary custody.

Jeannie Mai says Jeezy didn’t do that

According to Court documents cited by TMZJeannie Mai said her daughter’s father has yet to pay her the money and property that he agreed to. The agreement reportedly included a lump sum of $500,000 to be deposited in an interest-bearing account in Monaco, as well as childcare fees for her daughter. Additionally, the father was to transfer the title to a 2021 Range Rover and a 2022 Ford Bronco into her daughter’s name. He also reportedly agreed to cover her rent from May through August.

Instead, he neglected Jeanie and didn’t live up to the terms of their agreement, according to TMZ. Mai claims the rapper is now $4,000 in debt for school fees and child care. She also claims she doesn’t have access to Monaco’s $500,000 bank account.

Additionally, they say that without the transfer of ownership, they will not be able to insure the vehicle or transport it from Atlanta to Los Angeles. Additionally, Ginny is reportedly seeking $92,417.39 in four months’ rent that her husband has allegedly not paid.

Jeannie Mai reportedly tried to resolve the delay with Jeezy’s team but was unsuccessful, with TMZ reporting that his side stopped responding in July, according to court documents. So now the daytime TV host is asking the court to hold her ex-husband in contempt and to let her go of the promised goods.

Jeezy has yet to publicly respond to the details of the report.
