K-pop girl group ITZY announced the dates of their second world tour on Thursday (January 25th). This spring/summer tour will take the quartet to 18 countries across Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America, Europe and North America, riding the BORN TO BE swing scheduled to kick off in February at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul, South Korea. In the follow-up to their 2022 debut world tour “CHECKMATE,” the group will perform in Latin America, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand for the first time. The 27-city tour, produced by JYP Entertainment and promoted by Live Nation, will arrive in North America on June 6th for a performance at the WAMU Theater in Seattle, Washington.
Performances will then take place in Oakland, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Newark and Chicago, concluding on June 28th with a performance at the Theater at the Great Canadian Casino Resort in Toronto. The final performances will be held in Taipei, Taiwan (July 20th), Manila, Philippines (August 3rd), and Hong Kong (August 10th).
This date will feature the debut live performance of songs from the group’s 10 most recent songs born to be This is the group’s first mini-album containing solo songs by each member. The group’s eighth EP, which is made up of Yeji, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna, includes the title song, which includes the title song, which features the fifth member, rapper Lia, who is currently on hiatus from the group due to health issues. Tickets for the Asia show can be found on the local promoter’s website, with pre-sale for the Mexico show starting February 5th, followed by general sales starting February 6th at 11am local time. The pre-sale in Santiago will begin on January 29th, followed by the general sale on January 31st at 12pm local time. General ticket sales in Europe and the UK will begin on February 1st, general sales will begin on the Live Nation site at 10am local time on February 2nd, and general ticket sales in North America will begin on February 2nd.
