As a beauty editor, you can imagine that I love experimenting with makeup. However, anyone who knows me well will tell you that my daily makeup is actually quite subtle, minimal, and natural looking. Don’t get me wrong. Given the chance and opportunity, I still dabble in bright eyeliner, smokey eyes, or full coverage base, but overall I tend to play it safe and stick to products because it’s just my natural features It helps to subtly emphasize the
Because of this, I tend to gravitate toward brands that follow a similar aesthetic: fresh, glowing, natural skin. Laura Mercier, Merit, and Leffy are some of his makeup brands I go to, and I have lighter skin tints, cream blushes, and more in my makeup bag than his 20-shade eyeshadow palettes and eyeshadow palettes. You are more likely to find eyebrow gel. A rich cream foundation.
Another brand you can trust for minimalist makeup items is Trinny London. Founded by Trinny Woodall in 2017, the brand caters to those who seek simplicity and ease, with a product range sufficient to cover the basics (and more) of the average makeup routine. . Its products feel more grown-up and premium than many products on the market today, while remaining affordable and innovative when it comes to packaging design and formulation.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to try many products from this brand, some of which have become long-term staples in my makeup bag. But when I was recently tasked with reviewing this brand for Who What Wear, I realized why. Since I last shopped at Trinny London, the range of products has expanded considerably. Scroll down to find out what we think are standout items from this brand.
1. Trinny London BFF All Day Foundation

Rating: 8/10
As I mentioned earlier, full coverage foundations are not my bag, and I often wear skin tints or BB creams as my daily makeup base. This foundation falls in the middle, with medium coverage that feels lightweight on the skin, but can also be layered if you need more coverage. The finish is more matte than what I usually look for, but it doesn’t mattify the natural glow of my skin. It also doesn’t look cakey or powdery. So while I’m surprised at how much I love this foundation, I find myself reaching for it on days when I know I need my makeup to last longer. My only criticism? Unfortunately, the shade range of this product is quite lacking.
2. Trinny London Golden Glow

Cream bronzers are one of my product types as they add a subtle warmth and sunny glow to the skin. I’ve tried a lot and this one checked all the boxes for me. It’s easy to apply, blends beautifully, has no glitter or shimmer, and the shade Gensta isn’t too orange for my fair skin.
3. Trinny London Flash Blush

Similarly, I’m a big fan of cream blushes, and I actually can’t remember the last time I reached for a powder blush. What I love about cream blushes (especially this one) is that they leave a fresh, dewy finish on the skin, which looks really natural and adds to that healthy complexion that’s trending right now. Unlike powder formulations, cream blushes do not settle into pores and accentuate fine lines. Instead, you get a truly seamless finish and pigment that lasts all day.
4. Trinny London Lip Glow
Rating: 8/10
Not really a lip gloss or a lipstick, this moisturizing lip tint is exactly the kind of everyday lip product I keep in my handbag for on-the-go mirrorless makeup touch-ups. The balm-like formula delivers a sheer (but buildable) color and a glossy (but not sticky) finish, leaving lips feeling moisturized, moisturized, and plumped.
5. Trinny London Eye2Eye
Rating: 10/10
Eyeshadow is not an everyday makeup product for me these days. When applying eyeshadow, I prefer blending a single color onto my eyelids rather than having to worry about how to mix multiple colors. Luckily, that’s exactly what Trinny London’s eyeshadow product Eye2Eye aims to do. Each pot comes with an individual color, but if you want to create a more complex look (or just have more options), you can stack multiple pots to create your own completely customized eyeshadow. You can create a palette. My personal shade is Vision. It’s a delicate mauve pink and really highlights my green eyes.
6. Trinny London T-Kit Makeup Brush
Rating: 9/10
It may seem a bit random to feature makeup brushes among my products, but trust me on this one. It is clear that an important element that Trinny London considers is the packaging he designs. The company is known for its stackable pot system, which is a dream for anyone who frequently travels with cosmetics or applies makeup on the go. They applied the same innovative design to their makeup brushes. This sleek seemingly single brush is actually three brushes, plugged together by a magnetized design. Plus, the brush is multitasking and can be used for everything from concealer and eyeshadow to lip liner and brow pomade.
