I love peach season! Fresh peaches are one of those fruits that don’t taste very good unless they’re in season. We usually just eat them (a lot!) when we can. A delicious peach cobbler is also a great way to use up this summer produce.

When peach season comes around, we create new recipes at our house. That includes this his 10-minute peach cobbler. It goes well with fresh (but not canned) peaches and is delicious. You can also make single servings quickly and easily. It’s healthier, grain-free, and naturally sweet.
I love how this fresh peach cobbler is so buttery and not too sweet like some other recipes. We serve it with homemade whipped cream, but you can also enjoy it with vanilla ice cream. Try topping it with walnuts or pecans for an added crunch. It might be the best peach cobbler I’ve ever had!
Warning: This is different from the Southern or classic peach cobbler recipes you’ll find in most places. These use ingredients like brown sugar and all-purpose flour to create a golden-brown cobbler topping. With my version, you don’t even have to take out the baking dish. The simplified version includes all flavors.
Other filling options
This recipe can only be used with fresh peaches (not canned peaches). You may be able to thaw frozen peaches and extract the juice from the peach, but I haven’t tried that.
If peaches are not in season, you can use other fruits to make this recipe instead. Raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries all work well, too. Or make this berry crisp recipe. You can also use soft fruits such as pears. The apple is a little too hard, but if you want an apple cobbler try this recipe.
Random note about cream: I made homemade whipped cream with heavy cream and a little stevia. I used a chopper blade on my immersion blender. It’s the same as grinding coffee. I didn’t wash down the coffee first (because I’m lazy) and it was a real surprise! I highly recommend adding a pinch of ground coffee to your homemade whipped cream, but maybe not to your peaches…
