Gene Simmons I’m coming to jojo siwaAfter it was claimed on the internet that she was stealing the iconic rocker’s aesthetic with her whole “bad girl” persona, her defense was…because rockers dig it.
The KISS singer told TMZ…he likes JoJo’s new “devil” look and praised her new, edgier vibe as a badass, adding…someone who hates her Maybe he just doesn’t understand and is just jealous.

Gene also said, “Never be ordinary. Always be special. Jojo is special and looks cool.”
Gene’s autograph comes after Jojo’s Appearing on the red carpet On Monday, she attended the iHeartRadio Music Awards wearing an all-black mesh bodysuit.
She completed her eye-catching ensemble with dramatic face paint similar to that worn by KISS band members and a theatrical fake hawk.
JoJo announced in early March that she was entering a more adult period in her career as part of the release of her new song “Karma.” While many people have I had a hard time hugging you In contrast to the “Dance Moms” alum’s dark style, JoJo seems to be focusing on flashy outfits in the future.
Fortunately, she is able to do so because she knows Gene approves. And when Gene admits that she looks like him with her makeup on, he doesn’t care about it at all.
Remember, Gene and his Kiss bandmates recently semi-retired their iconic stage costumes after their farewell tour last December, but their performances (and costumes) are now digitally alive. Moving on – an innovation they just recently announced as a band.
It will be interesting to see if the “bad girl” version of JoJo is here to stay, especially now that she has Gene’s blessing.
