My love for K-Pop is obvious to everyone around me, and I almost never end a conversation without mentioning K-Pop. My musical connection to this global phenomenon began in 2015 when I happened to come across a group’s music video. Since then, I’ve added multiple artists to my never-ending playlist. The latest group to have me playing their tracks on shuffle is GRID Entertainment’s new boy band, POW. This group is made up of five diverse and unique vocalists, led by Yochi, a former child actor from Thailand who is a trainee before his debut. Other talented members of the group include Dong-young, Hyun Bin, Hong, and Jeong-bin, who caught everyone’s attention in a short period of time.
After dropping their pre-debut songs, POW made their official debut in October 2023 with the release of their self-titled debut EP. , last September.lyrics of A mix of nostalgia and stories of youth. Each member added synergy and variety to the song. And to maintain their position on the top tune radar, the quintet recently shared a new catchy song titled Valentine Perfect for the month of love. ELLE spoke to the members to find out more about this charming new ballad.
ELLE: Please tell us about the concept of Valentine’s Day.
POW: “Valentine” is a track that captures the exciting and hilarious confessions of boys in love. This work captures the experience of realizing the meaning of love a little too late and, as a result, being forced to pursue it, not wanting to miss the opportunity.
ELLE: How much has your life changed since your debut?
POW: Every moment is a blast and we learn lessons from every new experience. 24 hours since our debut feels really short. There are still many things I want to do, but I feel like my time is limited. It would be amazing if you had a superpower that could stop time.
ELLE: Are there any new concepts you would like to explore in the future?
Dongyon: We have a long list, but in a few years, we’ll talk about what we’ve learned throughout our careers and see what we can explore further.

Hon: Just like Hyun Bin, I also want to try out sexy concepts that might work in the future.
Yorchi: I would like to try the hip hop genre in the near future. Up until now, there have been many bright and energetic songs, so I would like to explore a completely opposite concept.
