If I were as famous christina aguilera And with an epic archive of instantly recognizable looks, nothing will stop me from going out as my younger self on Halloween every year. (Especially considering this superstar singer looks like she hasn’t aged since 2000.) But she brings back the plaid “Come On Over Baby” pants and the bedazzled headphones for “Ain’t No Other Man” Though she’s planning on going trick-or-treating this year, she’s borrowing from a more memorable early 2000s hairstyle for her glamorous (and slightly gory) Halloween Eve look. It seems like it is.
Aguilera posted a photo on Instagram on Oct. 30 on a merry-go-round, showing off what will no doubt be copied by many as a last-minute outfit. She wears a floor-length velvety leopard-print dress with a large slit that reveals her jewel-encrusted fishnet stockings. This look is complemented by a crystal-encrusted boombox bag, which honestly doesn’t give much, if any, clue as to what this costume is about. But I don’t mind because it looks so good.
Makeup artist Laura Arellano gave Aguilera a monochromatic look with brick tones. Shiny three-dimensional lips and matching eyelids. It’s definitely a look that could happen any time of the year, but she went in a creepy-cool direction by adding thick, bloody “tears” dripping from the singer’s eyes.
But everyone, look at this hair. It takes me back to that chunk of time between her self-titled debut album and her 2002 album. stripped offshe often wore her long hair in voluminous spiral curls, as stylist Yuichi Ishida gave this look.
