How to apply for credit
To have your military experience and credentials evaluated, you must first apply and be accepted into the SAIT program.
Once approved, please contact transfer.options@sait.ca to determine whether your program of study qualifies and determine next steps.
Veterans can access education funds if they qualify. Education and training benefits Provided by Veterans Affairs Canada. Members of the regular military or reservists can access education funding if they qualify. education reimbursement program or Paid education program.
SAIT recognizes the tremendous value that reservists, whether students or employees, bring to campus. A process is in place to accommodate short or long academic or work leave to complete CAF-related training. If necessary, we can also arrange to reschedule tests and assignments, or postpone semesters or programs.
These accommodations are subject to the terms, conditions and approvals described in the Policies and Procedures below.
Eligible programs
Several SAIT programs are accredited. Canadian Armed Forces – Accredited Certification Equivalency (CAF-ACE) Program And that Noncommissioned Officer Auxiliary Training and Education Program (NCMSTEP) Program:
