Britney Spears and Paul Solis’ rekindled romance worries family

Despite the singer previously stating that she was ending her relationship with Solis, the pair were recently spotted together, causing confusion.

Their relationship, which began after her split from Sam Asghari, also included a nasty incident at the Chateau Marmont.

Additionally, Paul Richard Solis’ ex-wife, Nicole Mancilla, claims that Solis neglected their nine children in favor of his relationship with Britney Spears.

Spears reunited with Solis, sparking concern among her loved ones. Sources said TMZ The singer’s family and friends, including his brother Brian, are said to be “confused and concerned” by the sudden reunion, which saw him have lunch with Solis in Malibu just weeks after their tumultuous split.

According to sources, the “Toxic” producer made it clear to everyone at the time of their split that he was done with Solis and instructed gate security to permanently remove her from the guest list.

The recent sightings have Spears’ family confused at how quickly her and Solis’ relationship was repaired, and to make things even more confusing, her friends found out about the reunion through paparazzi photos and not from Spears herself.

Solis’ criminal history has been of most concern to those close to the singer, and Spears has previously felt that Solis was exploiting her, raising alarm bells and leaving many in her circle wondering why he was still in her life.

Spears and Solis had lunch with friends at Soho House in Malibu just weeks after she declared on Instagram that she was “totally single” and mocked Solis.

At the time, the singer shared a paparazzi photo of her and Solis in a car on her Instagram Story, highlighting the irony that Solis was complaining about harassment yet seemingly welcoming the attention.

In the photo, Solis is seen shielding herself from the camera with her arms while Spears crouches next to her.

Spears explained that in reality, the situation was different, writing, “Why was he driving 90 mph through a neighborhood with a paparazzi following him and then rolling down his window when the paparazzi pulled up alongside me???”

She added: “Then he called his mum and said he was being harassed. Why did you open the window while I was crying in my seat?”

Spears went on to cryptically state, “Her attitude is cruel but her heart is beautiful,” before declaring in a since-deleted caption, “I will never be with another man as long as I live!!!”

Spears was first linked to Solis, her former housekeeper, shortly after her husband, Sam Asghari, filed for divorce in August 2023.

Sources say Solis, who has a criminal record that includes a felony firearm possession conviction, was hired to work at the “Gimme More” singer’s home without proper vetting and the pair eventually became romantically involved.

Their relationship hit a troubled development in May when they got into a heated argument at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, leaving Spears with an injured ankle.

At the time, the singer explained on Instagram that she’d sprained her ankle after clumsily hopping around in her living room, writing, “Falled, embarrassed, that’s all.”

Friends of Spears have expressed concern about Solis, describing him as “extremely dangerous” and “bad news from the start.”

One person suggested that Solis, who is the father of at least nine children, poses a serious risk to Spears’ health.

In an interview Daily Mail, Nicole Mancilla, the mother of five of Solis’ nine children, has called him an “irresponsible father” for not financially supporting his children, and the Los Angeles Department of Child Support Services (DCSS) is suing him for unpaid child support.

Mancilla alleged that Solis had been cheating on her with Spears and neglecting their children, and that Solis still tried to come to her mother’s house in Sylmar, California, despite not paying the bills for her and Spears’ five other children.

“I want everyone to know that my husband is obsessed with Britney Spears. He was married and now he’s neglecting his kids. He’s neglecting his kids for her,” Mancilla said.

A friend of the star said in April: TMZ She said she was “totally dysfunctional” and that her situation was worse than when she was under guardianship.

They also claim that Britney has been spending lavishly, buying luxury resorts and a private jet, and that she suffers from “shocking and extreme mood swings.”

“She was given a lot of freedom under the conservatorship and there were restrictions in place to protect her. She’s no longer protected,” the source alleged.

The source further noted that the singer is unable to cover living expenses and is “on the verge of bankruptcy.”
