Dance practice is a great way to watch a performance that focuses on choreography rather than fun and flashy stage effects. Dance as intended. The costumed version of dance practice adds another layer of (often unintentional) hilarity to the practice. If you want some giggles, gift this watch.
1.THE BOYZ “The Stealer”
You can tell from the intro that all the members of THE BOYZ are working hard on their dance practice characters! There’s a lot going on in this video, but it’s one that will make you laugh again and again. Take a look at Joo-young falling like Woody from Toy Story and Hyun-jae’s cheerful expression after being “abducted” by aliens during dance practice. The variety of costumes here is interesting.
2. “WANNABE” by ITZY
ITZY’s hit song “WANNABE” has one of the most talked about choreographies in K-pop, and this dance practice is just hilarious. The members played a game of choosing superhero-themed costumes, and one of hers was a “punishment” costume. While characters such as Elsa from “Frozen” and the comic book hero Wonder Woman appeared, member Leah decided to dance as a strawberry! I killed it with this costume and the members were laughing too.
3. Stray Kids “Thunderous”
For those who are not familiar with SKZOO, SKZOO is a character designed based on the members of Stray Kids. This “Thunderous” dance practice will be attended by members dressed as SKZOO characters with giant stuffed animal heads and shoes. Considering the difficulty of the choreography, they manage to pull it all together admirably, but by the end, heads and shoes start flying off and everything falls apart.
4. BLACKPINK “How You Like That”
BLACKPINK members practiced a fun version of their “How You Like That” dance while dressing up as different characters from Disney’s “Frozen.” The results were very interesting. The members added all sorts of adorable additions to the choreography. It’s also interesting to know that when Lisa wears the hood, she always can’t see and has no idea where the camera is. This is more of a party with BLACKPINK members than a dance practice.
5.SEVENTEEN “BOOMBOOM”
A blast from the past that’s as cheerful as its release date, SEVENTEEN put on a special edition Christmas performance of their song “BOOMBOOM” wearing various Santa and reindeer themed costumes. But the hilarity doesn’t end there. If you pay close attention, you can see the members goofing around and stealing each other’s spotlight during practice. This video has spawned many memes among SEVENTEEN fans.
6. “Bad Alive” by WayV
At first glance, you might think it’s a girl group’s dance practice. WayV members dress up as various Disney princesses in the choreography video for “Bad Alive,” and the costumes look great on them! Their commitment to the characters is also very hilarious, and it’s fun to watch them add fun little twists to the choreography. It’s amazing that Yang Yang was able to move at all in that mermaid costume!
7. MAMAMOO “Starry Night”
The funniest thing about this dance practice isn’t just that the members are dressed in hilarious animal costumes. It was photographed in public with fans who didn’t know they were members of the group under the giant animal’s head. The film also includes behind-the-scenes footage of them struggling to put on their costumes. A project that started as a silly bet to see if “Starry Night” could win a music program turned out like this!
8.BTS’s “21st Century Girl”
There’s a reason this dance practice is iconic among BTS stans. The group has done several dance practices in costume so far, but this is definitely one of the funniest. Most costumes are too large for the members to dance properly, leading to hilarious bumps and accidental spills as they try to maintain formation. The meme that was born from this “21st Century Girl” dance practice has gone down in ARMY history!
