The claims in the lawsuit against DJ Akademiks are as follows
The documents allege that Academics and two unnamed men broke into Abash’s home while he was unconscious or unconscious. According to RS, the two dated for a short time after meeting in 2021.
But she says they hadn’t seen each other in nearly a year when Akademiks allegedly contacted her on July 16, 2022. Akademiks invited her to her home in New Jersey, and given her past history, he never suspected her of “malicious intentions.” ”
Abashe pulled over and was surprised to be greeted by two other men (John Doe 1 and 2). She alleges that her men drugged her and continued to give her alcohol afterward, before she raped her on the pool deck of DJ Akademiks.
Abashe said he was in AK’s bed when he woke up around 4 a.m. the next day.Reportedly, he “He pulled her hair, pried her legs apart and brutally raped her.” The defendant said she was “begging” DJ Akademiks to stop when he penetrated her anus and vagina. According to the report, she was “crying during most of this assault and had lost her ability to move her body.”
Academicus allegedly showed the woman the video of the assault and further evidence.
The complaint also accuses Academics of showing Avashe a videotape of two men raping her on a pool deck. There was also a trash can containing two condoms. The woman believes the men also assaulted her indoors behind the pool deck of AK’s girlfriend’s home.
“Ms. Abash said that when she watched the video, it looked like she was just lying there, lifeless, and that didn’t sit well with her,” the complaint says.
In a text message dated July 17, 2022, the internet personality told Abashe to “get tested” and suggested he would do the same. The woman also took it as an admission to have unprotected sex with her, according to the complaint.
Fawziya ‘Ziya’ Abashe said she reported the matter to the police and had her rape kit tested, where she claims traces of Academicus’ sperm were found. Police also reportedly photographed bruises on her arms, back, buttocks and legs. ” Furthermore, Abash even had a “recorded wired call” with AK, in which he allegedly admitted to having sex with her and described her vagina. In the end, she decided not to press charges.
Academicus denies assault in December 2023 and after lawsuit
However, the incident became public knowledge in December 2023, when she and Akademiks discussed it on social media. In a video shared on Dec. 30, he denied her involvement and said his “two men” “trained” her on the pool deck. She also had CCTV footage, she admitted.
This is where the defamation aspect of Abashe’s lawsuit comes into question. Mr Abashe claims he was defamed by suggesting he voluntarily participated in an “orgy”, but claims he did not consent to the acts.
On Tuesday, as news of the lawsuit spread, DJ Akademiks again denied raping Abashe while speaking on a livestream. He called the lawsuit a “shakedown.” Additionally, the streamer stated that he is an “innocent man” and is not under any criminal investigation at this time.
Tyrone Blackburn, Abashe’s lawyer, told Rolling Stone that she had tried to resolve the civil matter privately but was unsuccessful.
Notably, Blackburn is accused of “improperly filing a lawsuit in federal court to garner media attention.” TMZ. As The Shade Room previously reported, Blackburn is also the attorney who filed the sexual assault lawsuit against Christian Combs and his father, Sean “Diddy” Combs.
